繭から蝶が飛翔するまでのようなプロセスを経て、
給田麻那美と Karine Niemand は、それぞれの感性、芸術、工芸の距離感を繋ぎ合わ せ、詩的なインスタレーションに挑戦してきた。
固いものと柔らかいもの、静寂と動き、影と光の間で反応しあう 2 つの彫刻。 漆と銅、柔と剛という 2 つの相反する特徴を持つ素材が組み合わされることによ り、作品は昇華されていく。
自然と生命のサイクルの強さ、そして儚さへの芸術的な賛辞を我々のアートから感 じてほしい。
