- 工業試験所で漆の技術を学び、20歳のとき、1910年から続く家業の「嵯峩螺鈿野村」にて修行開始。塗から加飾（螺鈿・蒔絵）まで全ての工程を一人で行う。

- 1979
- Learned the technique of “urushi”, Japanese lacquer, in Kyoto industrial training school. At the age of 20, started training at “Sagaraden Nomura”, his family business established in 1910. Works on all the steps to complete a product from urushi lacquering to decorations using the techniques of “makie” and “raden”.
